We did another intro horse trial AND WE PLACED SECOND!
Not gonna lie, it was a delightful surprise to make 2nd place! Our dressage was mediocre, as usual. We need to work on that because it’s our second career if this whole eventing thing doesn’t pan out! 😂 But Bow was a star in Stadium and XC!
I honestly don’t remember a whole lot about the thing. At least I have a few photos and a beautiful horse to remind me!
The video for this is missing, and the stadium pictures were lost. Good thing I still have the ribbon! 😂
I did not camp for this show, as a few of my friends had decided to get an airbnb in town. It was nice to have home base and people to hang out with. And to be warm! We also had dinner together at a local steakhouse, which was great with the group but I think I might like a good Mexican place better in the future.
This was also the first show “on my own.” Connie was in hospital (she’s great now) and we had to take care of eachother. Which was pretty easy because eventers are pretty nice people.
