I bought some toys for the Woodside Three Day we attended last week, and I thought I’d share them with you. A friend was commenting on how they didn’t want to need ‘all of the extra things’ for a shows, but after three trips out now, these things really do make a difference. Review of show coming soon.

Most valuable players:

Tie: After many years of waaaanting one, I got one of those folding wagons. I have some pain issues and I didn’t want to aggravate them with hauling my saddles and junk to-and-from the trailer. This was more versatile than the carts made to transport saddles and other accessories. I mean, I could take this to the beach, too.

Muck cart. You gotta clean up the poop, and this baby was easy to build, light-weight, and it folds down to a very manageable size. Can’t believe I waited so long to get one.

Can’t live without:

Bucket hanging straps. What did I do before I had these? Makes hanging up buckets a breeze. Riding warehouse has all of the colors

These saddle racks from Mary’s tack and feed (which don’t seem to exist anymore?). Michelle got the one from riding warehouse, but I prefer mine because the store so easily. Paired with the bridle rack you have everything organized on your stall.

I already owned this, but I wanted to highlight this Mobile chest. Fun fact: I can carry this around by myself when it’s empty. I know the ones made for equestrians are nicer-looking, but this is inexpensive and light. Both huge considerations when you are doin’ it yerself. Wheels and handle make it easy to move around. Being able to lock a bunch of stuff in front of your stall and not worry about it? Priceless.

What supplies do you think are necessary for a show?
